It is impossible to describe all that is included in the trip. But, this is a rare opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of customs, amazing foods and unique entertainment representing 10 different countries. Taking place in and around Omaha, Nebraska we’ll begin our journey with a German dinner and Octoberfest entertainment. A Polish lunch at the Polish Home will be a delicious treat. An evening featuring a homemade Greek dinner and dance performance will be incredible. An India Hindu Temple tour will be followed by a “Taste of France” lunch at the famous LeVoltaire Restaurant. A visit to Ireland includes an authentic Irish Folk Singer and Dance Performance. An evening of traditional dances of Mexico with elaborate and colorful costumes will be very entertaining. The county of China is represented with a Chinese Tea tasting presentation at the Tea Smith in the Old Market District. Our last stop will be to Lithuania by visiting a Lithuanian Bakery for a presentation and tort samples. In addition to all of these experiences we’ll visit a toilet paper factory where a majority of employees are blind; we’ll tour world-famous Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, and enjoy an extensive tour of Omaha with a local step-on guide. We’ll also spend a day at the amazing Omaha Zoo – rated the #1 Zoo in the World. An elegant dinner aboard the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad and a riverboat cruise on the Des Moines River will finish off this amazing vacation. All breakfasts, all suppers and two lunches are included.
There are minimal steps to climb at a number of attractions so this trip unfortunately is not fully accessible.
