Join us on a spectacular trip to the South Pacific. We’ll fly into Cairns, Australia the tropical gateway to one of the world’s most spectacular natural attractions and a World Heritage site – the Great Barrier Reef. From the Reef’s Green Island we’ll enjoy a glass bottom boat ride, stroll on the beaches and relax on a pier watching fish and sea turtles swim past. We’ll visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Center, Hartley’s Crocodile Farm, and enjoy a delicious Aussie barbecue.
A flight to Sydney will be followed by an encompassing city tour including Kings Cross, Botanic Gardens, National Opal Center and a tour of the famous Sydney Opera House. A delightful dinner cruise of Sydney Harbour will follow with a flight to New Zealand where we’ll be welcomed with a dinner at the home of a New Zealand family. We’ll tour Christchurch, The Garden City, and traverse the spectacular countryside to Mount Cook National Park.
In Queenstown we’ll take a gondola ride to Skyline Restaurant overlooking the city, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountains. We’ll travel the roads of rugged Hollyford Valley and ancient beech forests through Homer Tunnel to Milford Sound. A breathtaking cruise of Milford Sound with rock faces that rise 4,000 feet will take your breath away. Visiting the Gold Rush settlement of Arrowhead and the Central Otago wine country will end this wonderful adventure.
Airfare and 20 meals are included. A current passport Book is required! A $500 per person deposit is required to reserve your spot. Balance is due by December 15, 2017.
