San Francisco

Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, San Francisco is an incredible place to visit year-round. Our hotel is in a wonderful neighborhood just a stone’s throw from Alcatraz Island and Fisherman’s Wharf. We will enjoy a city tour including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Twin Peaks, Pier 39 and much more.  We will also tour Alcatraz, the famous prison island used to house some of the world’s most notorious criminals.  We’ll travel to Muir Woods, stroll past 800-year-old giant Redwoods, and visit the Mediterranean-like village of Sausalito.  Another day of touring takes us through the rugged beauty of the Sierra Nevada to Yosemite National Park. Travel through historic Gold Rush towns to reach the park, where you’ll be amazed by supersized natural wonders like Yosemite Falls and the granite cliffs of Half Dome and El Capitan. Take a hike among ancient sequoia trees, and enjoy several hours to explore the park’s wonders.  A special treat will be a full-day hopping on and off the San Francisco Trolley exploring the city and shopping at our leisure.  A $500 deposit is required with the balance due by July 1, 2023.  Optional cancellation insurance is available – see our website.
