Partnering with Mayflower Tours we offer this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once a decade the community of Oberammergau, Germany puts on the most significant Passion Play in the world. In 1633 the villagers suffered devastating losses to the Bubonic Plague and the Thirty Years War. Survivors appealed for Divine Intervention, vowing to God they would perform the Passion Play if they were spared. They were spared and the village has kept their promise. Once every 10 years over 2000 villagers perform this 6-hour spectacle depicting Christ’s Passion in an open-air stage with Alpine Meadows and towering mountains as a backdrop. We have reserved seats in the best ticket category for you to witness this life-changing event. Plus, this trip offers so much more.
