June 30 - July 2$385
We are partnering with the Baraboo Area Senior Citizen Organization (B.A.S.C.O.) for this tour. We’ll begin our journey in Dubuque with a visit to the National Mississippi River Museum, a Smithsonian Institute affiliated site. A scenic and delicious Mississippi River Sunset Dinner Cruise is also planned. Our travels continue to “middle” Iowa to the town of Winterset, site of the movie “Bridges of Madison County”. After free time to enjoy shopping and lunch in Winterset’s Historic Courthouse Square we’ll welcome a local guide aboard our motor coach. The guide will lead us on a historical and scenic tour of the area including stops at 3 to 4 covered bridges highlighted in the 1995 movie. On our way home we’ll spend some time exploring and shopping in the famous Amana Colonies. This trip includes deluxe motor coach transportation, two nights lodging, four meals and all attraction admissions.
