NEW TRIP – It’s never too late to see some of the most famous music superstars the world has ever known. Join as we experience a collection of amazing tribute performers who unbelievably re-incarnate the stars and bands we all know and love. Our journey begins at the Rosewood Theater in Delavan, WI for “The Beat Goes On”. Relive the classic tunes made famous by Glen Miller Band, Chuck Berry, The Andrews Sisters, Elvis, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, The Monkees, The Four Seasons, The Jackson Five, Johnny Cash and much more. A visit to Starved Rock Theater in Oglesby, IL for a performance of WWII Radio Show will be a favorite. Featuring tunes such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “In the Mood,” and “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree,” this show reenacts a 1940’s radio hour with Andrews Sisters-style tunes and choreography, Abbott and Costello comedy sketches and a touching tribute to Veterans. We then travel to White Pines Resort near Oregon, IL for three delightful overnights and two amazing shows. The centerpiece of this resort is a massive log lodge built in the 1930’s surrounded by authentic, cozy log cabins where we will rest our heads each evening. We’ll see incredible performances of “Piano Man – A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel” and “Abba Salute”, quite literally the most accurate ABBA tribute band in the country. We’ll also enjoy campfires and sign-a-longs, a visit to Barnacopia Auto & Farm Museum and more. All breakfasts, three lunches and all evening meals are included. Motor coach transportation. Minimal walking.
