Wandering Tree Estate is by any measure, an extraordinary setting.  Situated in North Barrington, Illinois it encompasses ten acres comprising of several gardens to explore, ranging from quaint English-inspired rose gardens, herbaceous boarder gardens and a Japanese garden with waterfalls and it’s very own miniature bridge.  Along with its four-acre lake and internationally recognized Garden Railway and Model Railroad Museum this setting will leave you in awe.  We’ll enjoy a guided tour and time to explore on our own. An included lunch buffet at Beelow’s Steakhouse in Lake Zurich, IL will be followed by a shopping stop at Hawthorn Gardens.  This friendly neighborhood nursery and garden store offers a unique selection of beautiful products for the home & garden.  Our last stop will be Long Grove Confectionery Nut & Candy Outlet featuring luscious, premium quality chocolates and other sweets at refreshingly low prices.  Moderate to considerable slow-paced walking.
