EAA Airventure

This is one of the most exciting events in the country.  Even if you are not an aviation enthusiast EAA’s Airventure is an event you should experience at least once in your lifetime.  Over 10,000 airplanes fly to and from Oshkosh’s Airventure during the 6 day event.  Over 100 take-offs and landings happen every hour. On the viewing grounds you’ll see up close all types of aircraft including vintage, experimental, homebuilts, warbirds, commercial, ultralights and more. The electrifying Air Show begins at 2:30 PM and runs for four full hours. Grounds admission and admission to the EAA Museum is included. Feel free to bring a folding chair to sit and watch all of the remarkable activities throughout the grounds. We’ll be at Airventure grounds from about 10:30 AM until 6:00 PM.  There are plenty of lunch and snack options on site. Moderate to substantial walking – choose to walk as much as you want.
